Nearby, stand before the enigmatic Great Sphinx before continuing to the Grand Egyptian Museum, one of the world’s most important archaeological museums. After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your included Economy Class flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to your Dahabeya where your elegant Nile journey begins.

In Edfu, visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus, considered one of Egypt’s finest ancient temples. Its grand pylons, intricate reliefs and sacred chambers offer remarkable insight into the spiritual world of ancient Egypt.
Return to the Dahabeya and continue sailing south while enjoying the calm and intimate atmosphere that defines this unique Nile experience.

This morning, sail towards the dramatic sandstone landscapes of Gebel El Silsila, one of Upper Egypt’s most atmospheric and lesser-visited archaeological regions. One of the true pleasures of Dahabeya travel is the ability to experience quieter sections of the Nile away from the larger cruise routes. As the vessel glides through these peaceful landscapes, enjoy moments of relaxation on deck while watching traditional river life unfold along the banks.
