Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, you will be met by our local representative for a warm welcome and assistance through immigration and customs formalities. After breakfast, set out on a full-day private guided exploration of Petra, the legendary “Rose-Red City” carved into sandstone cliffs by the Nabataeans in the 6th century BC. Walk through the narrow gorge known as the Siq, a natural passage leading to the stunning Treasury, Petra’s most famous monument. Continue to explore the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle, each revealing the artistry and engineering brilliance of this ancient civilisation. Optional horse or camel rides can enhance your experience or Petra By Night Experience can be added. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay. (B, D)
After breakfast, bid farewell to Petra as you travel back to Amman for your departure flight. Transfer to Queen Alia International Airport, where our representative will assist with departure procedures. (B)
To ensure a relaxed and rewarding experience, we highly recommend arriving in Amman during the early morning or daytime hours on Day 1 and scheduling your departure flight from Amman in the late evening on Day 3. This allows ample time to enjoy Petra and the scenic transfer without feeling rushed. This itinerary can also be tailored to meet individual preferences, with the option to add additional nights before or after the tour.
