Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport, where our local representative will welcome and assist you through immigration and customs formalities. After breakfast, embark on a guided city tour of Amman, exploring the Citadel, Roman Theatre, and Archaeological Museum. Continue to the eastern desert to visit the remarkable Desert Castles, Qasr Amra, Qasr Kharana, and Qasr Azraq. These early Islamic forts served as caravan stations and hunting lodges for Umayyad princes, adorned with intricate frescoes and ancient artistry. Return to Amman for overnight stay. (B)
After breakfast, travel north to Jerash, the “Pompeii of the East,” where the colonnaded streets, temples, and amphitheatres of the ancient Greco-Roman world remain beautifully preserved. Continue to Ajlun to explore its 12th-century fortress built by the forces of Saladin, offering panoramic views over the Jordan Valley. Return to Amman for overnight stay. (B)
After breakfast, journey along the King’s Highway to Madaba, famous for its stunning Byzantine mosaics, including the 6th-century map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, the revered site where Moses is believed to have viewed the Promised Land, before visiting the Crusader Castle of Kerak, one of the largest fortresses of its era. After breakfast, explore the “Rose-Red City” of Petra, a world wonder that captures both imagination and heart. Walk through the narrow Siq, a majestic gorge leading to the Treasury, Petra’s most famous monument. Enjoy a full day at leisure in Aqaba. You may choose to relax on the beach, join optional diving or snorkelling excursions in the Red Sea’s coral reefs, or explore the local markets and seaside promenade. Overnight stay in Aqaba. (B)
After breakfast, travel north to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Stop at the Baptism Site of Jesus, one of Christianity’s most sacred locations, believed to be where John the Baptist performed his baptisms. Continue to the Dead Sea for time to relax and float in its therapeutic waters. Later, return to Amman for overnight stay. (B)
