Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, you will be welcomed by our local representative who will assist you through immigration and customs procedures. Enjoy a private transfer to your selected hotel in Amman. The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest or begin exploring Jordan’s capital city. Overnight stay in Amman.

After breakfast, embark on a private guided tour north of Amman to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world. Walk through the ancient colonnaded streets, marvel at the temples of Artemis and Zeus, and imagine life in this prosperous provincial city of the Roman Empire. Continue to Um Qais, dramatically perched on a hill overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Sea of Galilee. Explore its amphitheatre and ruins while enjoying sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. Return to Amman for overnight stay. (B)

After breakfast, drive south along the historic King’s Highway to Madaba, known for its Byzantine mosaics, including the 6th-century map of the Holy Land in St. George’s Church. Continue to Mount Nebo, the revered site where Moses is said to have glimpsed the Promised Land. On a clear day, you can see as far as Jerusalem. Descend to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, for a chance to float in its therapeutic waters before continuing through the desert landscapes to Petra. Overnight stay in Petra. (B)

After breakfast, spend the morning exploring Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Walk through the narrow Siq, a stunning natural canyon, and emerge before the breathtaking Treasury. Visit the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle, each telling stories of the Nabataeans’ ingenuity and artistry. A short horse ride from the entrance to the Siq is included to enhance your experience. In the afternoon, return to Amman for overnight stay. (B)
